Statox 501 LC IR and MC IR – Economical infrared technology for combustible gases and CO2

The Statox 501 IR low-cost family is the inexpensive solution when it comes to measuring combustible gases or monitoring the workplace limit value of CO2 – especially if a catalytic converter would be overwhelmed.

For measurements in the LEL range, away from extreme temperatures, these infrared measuring heads are a real economical alternative to the catalytic sensors. Existing gas warning systems can also be upgraded to infrared without great effort, since the sensors can be operated with the same voltage as already installed catalytic sensors.

Both low-cost models consist of a connection housing in EEx e design and a sensor with integrated electronics.

The LC IR is best suited for Ex measurements, especially for methane. The MC IR is used for all other hydrocarbons.

Both infrared measuring heads are connected directly to the Statox 503 control module and are immediately ready for use.
